Jason Dones

I am a public servant with demonstrated experience in public institution and non-profit management, risk management & compliance. Currently working in Texas politics, my background and focus are in higher education, nuclear energy, and public enterprise. Through my work, I aim to support leaders who are dedicated to the principle of selfless service.

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and am a proud graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Before falling in love with public service, I researched nuclear physics under amazing principal investigators at Berkeley, CERN, and SwRI leaving me with a lasting interest in energy policy.
